Mechanic course

AUTO RACING

MTS is the first technical training school in the world of racing cars and motorcycles. The auto racing mechanic course aims to train and specialize competition mechanics with theoretical lessons and practical activities on racing cars, both with open wheels and covered wheels.

Teaching includes both the technical aspects and the methodological and practical characteristics of the work of a competition mechanic. The disciplines deal with the various mechanical parts of racing cars and the dynamics for performance improvement such as set-up, aerodynamics, electronics, etc.

A non-technical but very important matter is that of the psychological and emotional management of the mechanic in his/her relationship with the pilot. The areas of intervention of the practical lessons will be divided into covered wheel cars (GT), prototypes and open wheel cars (Formula).

During the lessons authoritative representatives of Motorsport will intervene and visits to reference companies in the sector will be scheduled. To ensure greater completeness of the training, the courses are held in the classroom, in the pits and on the circuit with high-level equipment and materials.

As part of the course, there will be days on the track with the school’s Formula Abarth, where students can work in direct contact with the driver, the telemetrist and the track engineer, in order to simulate as much as possible the work of a team.
